פְּלוּגְתָּא

פְּלוּגְתָּאII, פְּלוּגְתָּה pr. n. pl. Plugta, near Tiberias. Num. R. s. 9 כגון הדה בית מעון שיורדים לה מפ׳וכ׳ like Beth-Maʿon to which they go down when coming from P., and up from Tiberias; (Gen. R. s. 85 כפר שובתי; Y.Sot.I, 17a bot. פלטתה). Lev. R. s. 5 (ref. to Am. 6:6) they got their wine מפ̇ל̇וג̇ת̇א שעל יינם נתפ̇ת̇ו וג̇ל̇ווכ׳ from P., for on account of their wine the ten tribes were led astray, and had to go into exile (v. פְּתוּגְתָּא); Num.
